Principia Weblogia told you about my blogging philosophy, but it didn't really tell you anything about who I am and what I may end up writing about. Kind of makes it difficult to decide whether or not to keep reading, doesn't it? Unless you already know me, but I was already expecting your support ;)
So, allow me to try to rectify the situation.

I'm Molly. I'm a recent college graduate who is, frankly, trying to figure out what the hell to do with my life. I majored in English at a small liberal arts college in the midwest, though I wish I had majored in sociology instead of literature (lesson for all of you crazy kids: don't declare your major until you're really sure that's what you want to do). And now, I'm taking a year off between college and grad school, working (well, trying to work, but more on that later...) and figuring out how this whole "being an adult" thing is supposed to work.
As mentioned in Principia Weblogia, I'm an aspiring artist/artisan. I make jewelry and do artwork in a variety of mediums (including digital). I think, ultimately, I want to get into designing and selling stationery, and experiments in this area are currently being conducted. Someday, I would very much like to run my own store, though what I would actually be selling continues to change (owning the store/business is the important part).
I'm a huge supporter of the indie/handmade arts and crafts movement. I love kitschy, quaint, hip items, the kinds of things you won't find at Wal-Mart (thank god) or even Target. Etsy and a variety of design/handmade blogs occupy my attention a great deal of my online time.
I'm arty. I'm a geek. I'm a pop culture know-it-all. And the quickest way to my heart is through Dr. Pepper and a brilliantly crafted witticism.
Welcome to my world :)
